Another good thing is that the converter used json export from Bitwarden which includes cards (and identities) otherwise without the converter you're limited to using csv export which includes only logins and notes. On the plus side, seems that the converter has been around for sometime now and quite a few people (over different sources on web) mentioned using it, also it can be done offline. No offence to the developer of MRC converter (seems like a lot of work!) but its very unsettling when you use unencrypted export of your passwords with an external tool. It was horrific to include another tool in the transfer process even though 1Password support themselves suggest to use it.

I was actually pissed that 1Password offers direct switch from some obscure password managers but not Bitwarden which imho is relatively popular.

I started with the manual csv import and even tried to map fields but then it gave another error when I just gave up. only way to easily switch from Bitwarden to 1Password is using the MRC converter unless you want to get into messy field mapping with csv exported from Bitwarden. That's correct, just did it over the weekend. We'll always be marked by an official flair, and will always love both 1Password and you.
